ART WALK SCRAPBOOK PAGE I LAYERING WITH DIE CUTS

i just have to give some love to one of my most favourite heidi swapp collections ever.
AND the gorgeous summer inspired dies that work so perfectly with this collection.
using my favourite paper from this release called "full bloom", i was inspired to create this layout entitled "sweet one" as it features photos from when my daughter brynn celebrated her big 1st birthday.

i used 2 sheets of this same patterned paper.  one side as the base of my page, the second side to serve as an embellishment as i fussy cut out some of the beautiful florals.

this is one of my favourite ways to add simple and impressive dimension to fuzzy cut designs. i then chose to layer with die cuts (from this MUST HAVE die cut set) from coordinating papers from the 6x8 paper pad.  it is such a beautiful way to create a lot of visual interest and definition, but not complicated to do at all.

just a bit time consuming, but so worth the effort!

adding in additional embellishments is so easy to do and completes these clusters perfectly.

i hope you enjoyed this little tidbit i shared.  it is such a fun and easy way to create lots of fabulous and fun layers to any scrapbook page.
