i love the thought of all my memories tucked in.
tucked in journals, notebooks, photo albums and scrapbooks. add memory planners and storyline chapters to that list. it is just a concept that i love.
here as i worked on the last few weeks of december and 2020 i marvel at so many things. we are here. 2021 is knocking at the door. so much has gone in this year and yet, here we are. it was such a roller coaster year and for so many things i am grateful. even the tough stuff i had to personally endure because i am stronger for it and proud of myself no doubt!
so much of my planner this year has been inspired by the great teachings of heidi swapp in her stop the blur class. i have loved each and every month and i adore how with each spread there is a taste of her teachings. and sprinkled within those the awesome printables. i just love them so much! adding in some of my most memorable photos and thoughts within these pages of the week leading up to christmas, what a treasured and important story to tell. it all goes so quickly, doesn't it?
awhile back in stop the blur, i love how heidi talked about the idea of adding an interactive pocket. such a great way to add in additional elements like tags, photos and more pieces of the story. i love the versatility of this concept and how it can be altered in so many different ways.
stamping is another one of my favourite ways to start my stories. fun captions and titles laid out in beautiful alpha stamps. such a great way to serve as a prompt and intro, plus it also looks just fabulous too. mix and match your stamps with different colors and types of inks is also another fun way to add an additional creative element to this simple technique.
this incredible way to document will be coming with me into 2021. i cannot wait to see what lies ahead and i am so grateful to all that has been. this year may not have looked like anything we have ever dreamed of it looking, but when i review all my pages of my storyline chapters memory planner...it was not that bad after all. look for the bless in the mess, always.
here we go 2021. so ready for you.
