pink pop!

happy friday everyone! 

today is a perfect day for a POP of inspiration.  especially when it involves color, scrapbooking and delicious heidi swapp products!

today i am the featured post on heidi's blog where i am showcasing the layout i created using only 4 pieces from her newest color pop collection as the basis for my project.  it was definitely hard to choose but i chose my favourite pink pop color pop paper, the super fabulous color pop tags, some color magic chipboard alphas and the always awesome mint green color shine.

the inspiration for this layout came from  my own yard at home.  i am falling in love daily with the pops of colour i am seeing emerge.  every day is a new surprise!  from spring blossoms, to my flower pots, to my lilacs that come back every year.  i just LOVE the splashes of colour against the green backdrop.  welcome back summer!

another favourite part of this layout for me are the black accents that i incorporated here and there.  the striped hearts, the striped pennants and black "love". i adore how it combines so perfectly with the hot pink and mint green. 

 i cannot wait to play around even more with the amazing heidi swapp color pop collection.  in combination with color shine, or acting alone the papers are amazing! SO full of potential and possibility to capture, document and celebrate your summer memories! happy POPPING!
